The Quilt Kit arrived quickly and in great condition. I bought the “Knot A Quilt” for my six year old granddaughter for her birthday. The squares are already cut with ends to tie together. My six year old and I had a great time tying the knots together. She felt very proud of herself when she saw the finished quilt on her bed. The quilt material is only a middle grade fleece and it will most likely tear if it is not treated with care. If a child can tie a knot and follow simple directions then they can easily create a quilt to enjoy all winter.

Knot A Quilt is an fun project for a child of around 7 or 8 years old. No messy supplies are needed. All you do is make knots. The kit makes a nice sized throw and it is super soft.
We used one kit to make 2 baby blankets for our newborn neice and her year old Brother. I had to order more as my kids each wanted one.
This is a craft they will enjoy!

I bought 3 of these kits – one took me about 10 afternoons to
finish because it was going to my granddaughter in WA. Since
it gets rather cold and this ended up being very light, I took
a blanket I had, cut it to size and lined the quilt. Turned
out fantastic and I know this will keep her warm!

bought two of these for granddaughters christmas present..6 and 8 years old.
it was interesting to hear about the knotting party with the girls and their
mothers…spread out on the floor…colors where they wanted them. it did take a few sessions but they both really like them. seem to be very durable.

I am not much of a sewer or into crafts, so I was worried this would be kind of hard for my girls. I am pleasantly surprised that it was a great deal of fun to do! In fact, it was so much fun that I bought batting and backing and made it into a real quilt. Now, it’s very warm and my daughter loves it! I used embroidery thread to pull through at all the four-corner areas. I guess the only down part would be that it is kind of small even for a young girl to curl up into. It’s more like a lap quilt size. I would highly recommend this kit for anyone with kids.
